Sr.Lucy Kalapurakkal was a member of Franciscan Clarist Congregation (FCC). She was expelled from the congregation for allegedly disobeying the church authorities and on disciplinary grounds. She is the author of the book Snehamazhayil. Sister Lucy’s nonconformist stance and lack of inhibition, virtually unheard of, has made her voice stand out in a space which made it impossible.
