Malayinkeezhu Gopalakrishnan is a historian proficient in colonial history. He was a journalist and a news editor at Mathrubhumi. He is currently working as the editor of Kerala history at the Shared Heritage Programme, a digital presentation of the historical ties between, Kerala, India and Netherlands in both Malayalam and English. He is the author of the books Hey Ram, Loka Charithrathiloode Keralam, Maargadarshiyaya Malayali to name a few.
