Born at Sasthamcotta, Kerala in 1939, RV Achari is a Fellow of Association of Structural Engineers and is a Pioneer Designer of Steel Plant Structures in India, Scallop Industrial Thickeners and Computer Drafting of Structural Detailing.
Papers Presented: Suspension Bins - Mapping Technovation, in the First Indian Engineering Congress 1987; Civil Engineering in Disaster Management, National Seminar 1995 and ‘From Mythology of Vāstuśāstra to Methodology of Vāstuvidyā, (Knowledge Production in Pre-Colonial India) IISc 2015.
