Prof. Sathya Prakash Varanashi is involved with academics, events, designs and texts. He studied architecture at Bangalore, Urban Design at New Delhi and Heritage Conservation at University of York, U.K. Presently Sathya is a consulting architect based in Bangalore involved in designing cost effective eco-friendly buildings; weekly columnist on green sense and eco-build for The Hindu newspaper for over 7 years; adjunct professor of architecture, urban design, vernacular traditions and sustainability in 4 different institutions; facilitating heritage activities through INTACH and events through UDBHAVA forum. Sathya likes to network with like-minded people through events, dialogues and committees.
