Sunil P Ilayidom is a contemporary writer, critic and orator in Malayalam language. He is a recipient of Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award. Sunil P Ilayidom was born in 1968. After his formal education, he worked in Desabhimani Daily. Currently, he is working as a lecturer in Malayalam department, Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady. Kanvazhikal Kazhchavattangal is one of his most noted work.
He has received Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for Scholarly Literature in 2006 and Keral Sahitya Akademi Award for Literary Crticism for his book, Ajnjathavumayulla Abhimukham in 2013.
