The evolution of social change must begin at the grass root level, starting with the right questions highlighted the panellists at the session in the SPACES Fest. The discussion started with Sarada G Muraleedharan IAS who spoke about Kudumbashree, which is hailed as the Kerala model of successful self-help group. She added that the group acted as a space for the free flow of thoughts which resulted in its success.
Harikishor IAS, Lakshmi Menon, and Arun balachandran shared their views about social changes in their respective field of work.
According to Arun Balachandran, social changes have occurred through leadership and digital revolution.
"If you are not part of the solution then you are not right part of the problem," quoted Lakshmi Menon.
S. Harikishore IAS shifted the focus to women’s need for space, to ask questions inorder to find the right solution. He urged that a stage for posing questions to find the answers will definitely call for a social change.
