The lost tradition, culture and the rhythm of the festivities is a reason for nostalgia and concern, said the panellists, Manoj Kuroor and Nepathya Jinesh P.Chakyar at the SPACES Fest.
The musical maestros and the moderator Arun Kumar, shared the idea of the traditional instruments used on stage and the role it played in fulfilling the entertainment quotient for the people a few decades back.
The discussion shifted its focus to the current trends in music and poetry, unlike the poems by Kunjan Nambiar, which took it to another level of entertainment with a designed framework and the use of such traditional instruments. With the notion of entertainment evolving over the years, these traditional instruments has lost its relevance. But, reviving it by the efficient use of the digital space is possible, said the panellists.
