‘The Constitution of India is not the invention of Indian National Congress,’ said Sunny Kappikad at SPACES Fest. Featuring the scholar and activist, Sunny Kapikkad, the session on constitutional morality, witnessed agony, anger and opinions on the misinterpreted constitutional system.
‘The constitution of India doesn’t give due importance to political discussions. There doesn’t occur an healthy criticism about the constitution,” he said. He also focussed on the cosmic law of justice which experiences chaos and confusion across the world.
The cultural tapestry of the country will be always intertwined with the never ending problem of untouchability. He called for the need of transparency in a democratic country.
The session ended with an interaction that formulated the need for a society that gave equal importance to people irrespective of the class and creed. ‘Peace should not remain a word but must be an action,’ he quoted.
