The expertise and skills passed over generation for art and architecture was under a state of declined pointed the panellists at the session moderated by Saraswathy Nagarajan. The activist, politician and Indian handicrafts curator Jaya Jaitely shared her experience over the years and her attempts revive the dying art and crafts.
They pointed out the reasons for the endangering art forms the principal cause being the loss of the natural spaces which supported these crafts. The practical solutions for revival of the system was enthusiastically discussed at the session.
