The first session at the SPACES Fest, featured a heated discussion on the wisdom of sacred places led by M.G. Sashibhooshan, Lekshmy Rajeev, Dr. Sunil Edward, T.S. Syamkumar, moderated by N.S.Sajith.
The umblical link between the purity and sacred spaces is the norm but it should grow towards humanity,pointed Dr. M.G. Shashibhooshan. He briefed about the architectural eminence of Swatithirunal museum, University College.
Architecture mould spaces and those spaces which we are obliged to live in, culminating towards as communal and social beings we become, said T.S ShyamKumar expressed his views on the traditional architecture and vasthu. He said that the concept of Naalambalam itself propagated the idea of untouchability. Lekshmy Rajeev shifted the focus to humanity and hard work where purity must be realized.
The session ended on the positive note that, the wisdom sacred spaces offers us could be immense but what must outshine should be the purity of the human minds.
